Our aims and objectives
to worship God
to love each other
to reach the world
Our aim for tCC is to see a church that is holy and full of worship – where every member knows they are loved and accepted, and is equipped and released to serve God to their fullest potential. To be a church that helps and serves others to accomplish God's purposes, in this and other nations.
The Community Church doesn't have a full time vicar or senior leader, but has a leadership team and a number of people responsible for various aspects of church life. We are part of the national Pioneer network which provides support and accountability to local churches and we are also involved in meeting and working with other churches in the Burton area.
We don't own a building, so we meet weekly in a local school and are therefore able to use our income to support and invest into areas of need - both locally and internationally - including supporting work in Ethiopia, Burundi and Bulgaria.
We are committed to discipleship - helping each other to be more like Jesus - and meet during the week in small groups where we learn more about God, support each other through prayer and practical help and focus on how best we can communicate God's love to those around us.
